Privacy policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use Afghan Calendar and how it is used.
Information we do not directly store
You do not need an account to use the calendar, date converter, prayer times, Qibla, Ramadan, or Zakat tools. We do not ask for or directly store your name, phone number, address, password, or payment information for normal site use.
Location
If a feature needs location access, your browser asks for permission first. Location is used only for that feature, and we do not store it in our database. You can revoke location permission at any time in your browser settings.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand general site usage, such as visited pages, device type, approximate country/region, and technical issues. Google may process cookies or similar identifiers under its own policies. This helps us improve speed, reliability, and content.
Cookies and local settings
Your browser may use cookies or local storage for analytics and simple preferences such as selected language. You can delete or restrict cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work as expected.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email or social media, we use the information you send to respond and follow up on that request. For privacy requests, correction requests, or deletion of correspondence, contact hello@afghancalendar.com.
Sharing and legal requirements
We do not sell personal user information. Limited information may be processed by service providers needed for hosting, security, analytics, or support, or disclosed if required by valid law, legal process, or to protect the site and its users.
Children and changes
This site is designed for general use and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. This policy may be updated in the future; the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
